Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring community buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar standards. The role includes making-ready vacant units, inspecting contractor work, and maintaining inventories and safety procedures.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience in property management maintenance, and proficiency with tools and basic software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and be knowledgeable in safe use of tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company management and respond to questions.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and perform repairs to meet Greystar standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Inspect work by contractors to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies within budget guidelines.
• Support safety programs, conduct safety meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance.
