Job summary

Greystar seeks an on-site Maintenance Lead responsible for ensuring unit and property standards, coordinating work orders, and managing make-ready tasks. The role includes inspections, inventory control, and maintaining common areas while following safety policies.

The position requires hands-on maintenance skills, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills to interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to support management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform completion of work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Lead make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins after inspections.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and coordinate materials with the maintenance team.
• Oversee inspections using property platforms and ensure compliance with code and policy.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
