Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work for the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality in buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

You will manage work orders, oversee make-ready processes, supervise service staff and contractors, and support budgeting and safety programs to maintain Greystar standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications preferred for HVAC work.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related field.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and maintenance record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments and schedule vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and buildings.
• Inspect work by service team and contractors to ensure quality.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.
