Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for multifamily properties in Oakland. The role ensures move-in readiness, resident satisfaction, and timely service by overseeing maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.

You will manage on-site teams and coordinate with property management to meet safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, EPA 608 Type II or CPO certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 – Type II or higher certification required where applicable.
• On-site maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepares market-ready apartments through painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Responds to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Performs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintains grounds, pools, common areas, and safety compliance.
• Participates in on-call emergency procedures as needed.
• Keeps records of maintenance work and preventative maintenance cycles.
