Job summary

BH Management Services, LLC is seeking a Service Manager I to coordinate maintenance staff, schedule work, and oversee daily operations at multifamily properties. The role emphasizes safety, coding compliance, and quality execution of repairs and preventive maintenance.

The candidate will manage inventories, conduct site inspections, and ensure customer satisfaction while upholding BH standards and on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Needs four years of progressive maintenance and safety experience.
• Experience with properties up to 299 units.
• Advanced computer skills for coordinating resident/management requests.
• Ability to work independently and assign tasks to team.
• High school diploma preferred.
• EPA Core, Type I, Type II, and CPO certifications are required.
• Own hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage maintenance staff schedules and assignments.
• Oversee safety training for maintenance staff and conduct safety audits.
• Inspect property grounds daily and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local/state codes, and company policies.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to inspect, repair, install, or replace equipment.
• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance per BH guidelines.
• Maintain security of all tools issued to the team.
• Share on-call duties, including during inclement weather.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
