Job summary

The Hallmark Company in Somerville, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of apartment systems and equipment. You must have your own tools and be able to handle HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks on-site.

Candidates with HVAC/EPA, multifamily experience, or CPO certification are preferred. The role includes on-call shifts, overtime, and weekend work as needed, with competitive pay between $17.00 and $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance experience required or equivalent.
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
• Previous multifamily experience preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on apartment systems.
• Handle on-site basic repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24 hours.
• Assist in training groundskeepers and junior staff.
• Inspect building and alarm systems and prepare for regulatory inspections.
• Winterize facilities and maintain pool equipment.
• Inspect vacant units and oversee turnover work.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory.
• Move heavy equipment safely and perform admin duties.
• Attend required training and perform other duties as assigned.
