Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Manager III to coordinate maintenance work across large multifamily properties. The role involves scheduling, safety training, and supervising staff to ensure high-quality repairs and preventive maintenance.

You will work with the Community Manager on staffing and resident service standards. Candidates should have 5+ years in maintenance with HVAC and EPA certifications, own their tools, and be comfortable with on-call duties across 500+ units.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of progressive maintenance and safety experience.
• EPA section 608 Type I – Appliance, Type II – HVAC or Universal, Certified Pool Operator where required by local jurisdiction.
• Working knowledge of appliance repairs and HVAC repairs.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Overseeing more than 500 units and/or multiple communities totaling 500+ units.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise maintenance staff and repairs for buildings.
• Coordinate site staffing needs with the Community Manager.
• Ensure safety training and OSHA compliance for staff.
• Inspect property and grounds; monitor preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage inventory and maintenance budget; ensure standards are met.
• Respond to resident requests and on-call incidents as needed.
