Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for an apartment community. You will lead a maintenance team, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure resident-focused service while adhering to Peak Simply Service Standards.

You will manage service requests, conduct safety inspections, and implement preventative maintenance programs, while coordinating with the Property Manager and vendors to stay within budget and uphold high curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience required.
• EPA Type II Certification required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team 60–70% hands-on repairs; rest on supervision and admin tasks.
• Assist Property Manager with Peak Simply Service standards for customer service.
• Prioritize and assign service requests; monitor completion and follow up where needed.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to maintain curb appeal and reduce liability.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce future repairs.
• Manage maintenance supply inventory within budget guidelines and supervise vendors/contractors.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance; promote safe work practices.
• Prepare vacant units for marketing, including restoration and cleaning.
