Job summary

Harbor Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist in a Columbus, OH multifamily community to drive occupancy and enhance resident satisfaction. You will tour and lease apartments, qualify leads, process applications, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.

You will also support marketing initiatives, manage renewals, and assist the Property Manager with daily operations to optimize occupancy and financial performance. Strong customer service and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in leasing, sales, or customer service, property management preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Show and lease apartments to prospective residents.
• Qualify leads, process applications, and run background/credit checks.
• Maintain move-in ready units and coordinate maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and onboarding for new residents.
• Develop marketing plans to drive traffic and occupancy.
• Handle rent collection and delinquent accounts as needed.
• Maintain records in property management software (Yardi/OneSite).
