Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Property Leasing Specialist to market and lease assigned properties and provide resident services. You will develop programs, coordinate events, and support the Property Manager and Regional Property Manager to ensure strong occupancy and service quality.

Responsibilities include reviewing applications, managing leasing activities, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with HUD and Fair Housing policies. Occasional travel between properties is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in multi-family property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and/or HOPE 6 preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD programs including HOPE 6 and project-based Section 8.
• Proficiency in Yardi preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating leasing events such as open houses, realtor tours, and resident promotional activities.
• Assists with the development and implementation of resident services programming.
• Maintains knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Manages property’s answering service and ensures excellent customer service.
• Notifies residents of issues affecting tenancy.
• Files court documents for eviction and attends court hearings as Landlord’s representative.
• Oversees security deposit administration and refunds.
