Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Leasing/Property Management Associate in the Atlanta area to market and lease the property, deliver resident services, and ensure smooth operations. You will implement policies under the Property Manager and Regional Property Manager, coordinating leasing events and resident programming.

The role requires building knowledge of HUD programs, Yardi, and strong customer service. Travel between properties is expected; weekend hours are possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in multi-family property management is preferred.
• HUD programs knowledge including HOPE 6 and Section 8 is a plus.
• Proficiency in Yardi is preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows, Excel and Outlook is expected.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Requires valid driver’s license, vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leasing events such as open houses, realtor tours, and resident promotions.
• Assist with resident services programming.
• Monitor market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Manage property answering service with accurate contact information.
• Notify residents of tenancy issues and mediate disputes when needed.
• Assist with eviction paperwork and court appearances as Landlord’s representative.
• Oversee security deposit administration and refunds.
• Maintain controls over accounts payable/receivable and property expenditures.
• Lead property tours and follow up on referrals and inquiries.
• Maintain property records, filings, and leasing packages.
• Review applications for manager approval and ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure property security and incident reporting.
