Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Property Leasing & Marketing Associate to oversee marketing and leasing for assigned properties, while delivering resident services and enforcing policies under the Property Manager and Regional Property Manager. Coordinate events, manage communications, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in multi-family property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and/or HOPE VI preferred.
• HUD programs knowledge including HOPE VI and project-based Section 8.
• Yardi proficiency preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leasing events such as open houses, realtor tours, and resident promotional activities.
• Assist with the development and implementation of resident services programming.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Manage property’s answering service with up-to-date contact information.
• Notify residents of issues affecting tenancy and mediate disputes.
• File eviction documents and attend hearings as Landlord’s representative.
• Oversee security deposit administration and refunds.
• Assist with building security measures and incident reporting.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.
• Process property expenditures for approval and maintain filing systems.
• Lead property tours and track referrals and inquiries.
• Maintain reference book of property features and current promotions.
• Prepare leasing checklists and ensure required forms are available.
• Review applications for approval and maintain applicant files.
• Maintain office hours including weekends/holidays and control invoicing.
• Maintain and monitor compliance with leasing laws and company policies.
