Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a property leasing and marketing professional in the Lanham area to oversee marketing, leasing, and resident services for assigned properties. The role supports the Property Manager and Regional Property Manager, coordinating events, advancing resident programs, and ensuring strong customer service.

A valid driver's license and travel between properties are required. Pay ranges from $25 to $26 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in multi-family property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and/or HOPE VI preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD programs including HOPE 6 and Section 8.
• Proficiency in Yardi preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leasing events such as open houses, realtor tours, and resident promotions.
• Assist with resident services programming development and execution.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Manage property answering service and maintain up-to-date contact information for tenants.
• Notify residents of tenancy issues and assist with evictions as Landlord’s representative.
• Oversee security deposit administration and unit move-in/out inspections.
• Support Property Manager with building security measures and incident reporting.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and property expenditures.
• Lead property tours, track referrals and inquiries, and maintain leasing promotions.
• Ensure compliance with leasing agreements, Fair Housing laws, and applicable regulations.
