Job summary

Ironcore Construction is seeking a Multifamily Construction Project Manager to lead projects from planning through completion in California. You will partner with executives, superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive budget, schedule, quality, and safety.

This hands-on leadership role requires ownership and accountability beyond a seat at the table, with a focus on delivering affordable multifamily communities.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of construction project management experience in multifamily.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction means, methods, sequencing, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of multifamily construction projects.
• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls and change management.
• Drive project schedules and identify risks to milestones.
• Review drawings for constructability and coordination.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders.
• Coordinate permitting with local jurisdictions and lead OAC meetings.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Promote safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
