Job summary

GAF seeks a Multicraft Technician II to perform advanced maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize plant equipment, while adhering to safety standards and 5S practices.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing welding and machining tasks, and using Maximo for work orders. Collaboration with production teams is essential.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical power trains, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Knowledge of 480V systems and reading multimeters.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix / RSLogix 5000.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced maintenance support and PMs for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot from blueprints and schematics for drives and conveyors.
• Complete work orders and document in CMMS (Maximo).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of work.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams.
