Job summary

GAF is seeking a Multicraft Technician II to perform advanced maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and facility systems in our Georgia plant. Under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will troubleshoot, repair, and prevent downtime on production equipment, reading blueprints and using meters and shop tools.

This role supports safe, efficient operations on a 12-hour night shift (7 PM–7 AM) with a 3-2-3 pattern and built-in overtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with 480V systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced maintenance support and PMs of equipment for the Plant site.
• Troubleshoot from blueprints and schematics for drives and conveying systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Document work in CMMS (Maximo) and close out orders.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and reliable plant operations.
