Job summary

GAF seeks a Multicraft Technician II to perform advanced multicraft maintenance in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, welding, machining, and working from blueprints to support high uptime for roofing production.

The position requires proficiency with machine drives, 480V systems, and Allen Bradley PLCs, with safety and teamwork as core priorities in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and process equipment.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix controllers; RSLogix 5000 is a plus.
• NFPA 70e certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced maintenance support and PMs for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot from blueprints/schematics for drives and conveyors.
• Read instructions, use meters and tools to perform tasks.
• Perform welding, piping, and millwright work as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.
