Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking a Multicraft Technician II to perform advanced maintenance and repairs in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read blueprints, and perform welding and millwright tasks to ensure equipment uptime. The role requires experience with 480V systems, Allen Bradley ControlLogix/RSLogix 5000, and the ability to work on a 12-hour night shift on the Pitman site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience in high-volume operations.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical power trains, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; welding aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced maintenance and PMs for plant equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics; troubleshoot machine drives and conveyors.
• Perform welding, millwright tasks and pipe system repairs as needed.
• Document work in CMMS (Maximo) and close out work orders.
