Job summary

GAF is seeking a Multicraft Technician III to safely perform advanced maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems in a manufacturing setting. You will support production uptime, develop corrective and preventive maintenance plans, and collaborate with Operations to improve equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, detailed documentation, and hands-on expertise in lubrication, vibration analysis, and control systems.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED Required.
• 5+ years working experience in an industrial maintenance manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.
• Competent with the use of Personal Computers, with sound understanding and utilization of Google APPS, and MAXIMO/CMMS Asset Management Software.
• Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, instrument, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, controls, and Utility equipment.
• AC/DC motor repair/replacement for single phase, and 3-phase power.

Responsibilities

• Develop work orders details in MAXIMO and add supporting documentation, reports, tests plans, & schedules.
• Adheres to safety guidelines, policies, and procedures while actively participating in the safety program.
• Performs periodic proactive asset strategies to improve reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoots, installs, aligns, dismantles, repairs, and maintains industrial machinery and related systems.
