Job summary

GAF Newton is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform advanced maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC and facility systems in a high-volume manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely repairs to maximize uptime.

You will diagnose issues, read blueprints, operate meters, and collaborate with the maintenance team to complete work orders and improve plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with mechanical power trains, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read instructions, blueprints and manuals; operate meters and shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced maintenance and PMs for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine drives and conveyors in a high production line environment.
• Perform welding, millwright work, and electrical repairs as needed.
