Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple Restaurant Management Teams across the district, ensuring performance against all job descriptions.

You will train, coach, and evaluate General Managers and GMITs, drive guest satisfaction, manage P&L, budgets, and scheduling, and actively recruit leaders while traveling 4-5 days per week. A strong track record in multi-unit restaurant leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience.
• 3-5 years in management positions (preferably multi-unit, full-service, fast food or convenience).
• Financial planning aptitude including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all District Team Members are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction.
• Evaluates restaurant QSC standards and provides feedback and coaching.
• Communicates customer comments to Restaurant Managers and ensures timely resolution.
• Ensures orientation and development opportunities for General Managers and GMITs.
• Trains, coaches, and provides regular performance feedback to staff.
• Evaluates GM and GMIT performance against standards.
• Provides counseling and discipline when needed.
• Trains on new products, programs, and changes.
• Recruits General Managers and GMITs and matches leadership to needs across districts.
• Analyzes business performance and initiates corrective actions when deviations occur from financial expectations.
• Supports marketing programs and evaluates local restaurant strategies.
• Ensures legal compliance and company policies.
• Serves as a role model for the team in business and personnel management.
• Negotiates vendor contracts following the approval process.
• Upholds food safety and sanitation requirements.
