Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group USA, seeks a General Manager to lead multiple dining service operations across facilities. You will drive financial performance, schedule management, and guest satisfaction while ensuring quality and compliance.

The role requires proven leadership in foodservice, multi-unit oversight, and strong communication skills. Expect collaboration with clients and teams to achieve targets and elevate service standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or an A.A. with 5-7 years related experience is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of retail operational foodservice management experience preferred; flexibility based on degree/training.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, sanitation, cost controls, marketing, and presentation.
• P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• Multi-unit management experience is preferred; experience with cash retail operations is a plus.
• Excellent supervisory, leadership and coaching skills; strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of financial, budgeting, accounting and computational practices; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation and cost-effective management of multiple dining service departments across sites.
• Ensure timelines and service standards are met; coordinate with client and management.
• Manage financials: budgeting, planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead diverse teams; conduct management meetings and recruit/train staff.
• Audit units for compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Hire, train and orientate new management staff; drive quality and guest satisfaction.
