Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service is seeking a District Manager to lead a multi-location operation and drive the company’s tax service excellence. You will manage local P&L, recruit and staff, set schedules, and ensure store standards and compliance.

You’ll build and coach a high-performing team, develop individual growth plans, and partner with HR to address employee relations while delivering strong client service and financial results. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in retail management preferred.
• Mentoring and developing others is a must for the District Manager.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and engage a team and deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage local P&L, recruiting, staffing, scheduling, store setup, operations and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure safety and compliance of assets, clients, and employees through store visits and training.
• Build a high performing team through recruitment, guidance, training and development.
• Create development plans to retain top associates and maintain high morale.
• Coach store leadership to improve performance through feedback and assessment.
• Foster an environment where associates express views and strive for excellence.
