Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain building systems across a residential community in New Jersey. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks to keep apartments rent-ready and comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities include responding to resident requests, completing service orders, and maintaining high customer service. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work with contractors are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, averages, percentages, totals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a safe and timely manner.
• Turn-key work to ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests to minimize problems.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• May drive company or personal vehicle for community errands.
• May supervise the work of other associates and contractors.
