Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of building systems and equipment. You will complete service requests, prepare vacant apartments for rent, and uphold resident safety and satisfaction through timely, quality maintenance work.

Responsibilities include adhering to company policies, driving when required, and coordinating with staff and contractors to maintain property standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, averages, percentages and totals.
• Able to operate general office equipment such as PC, telephone, copier, fax and postage machine.
• Frequent use of general maintenance tools and equipment including hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, pool chemicals, ice removal equipment, ladders, landscaping equipment, sanders and safety equipment.
• Position requires driving responsibilities and a valid driver’s license.
• Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with motor vehicle policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Complete service requests and repairs safely and promptly.
• Perform turn-key work to make vacant apartments rent-ready.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests.
• Promote safe work practices and comply with policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
• Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and maintenance tasks.
• May drive the company vehicle to various destinations.
• May supervise other associates and contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
