Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Cranford, NJ, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will diagnose and repair systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety features to keep resident homes in top condition.

A high school diploma and about 1 year of maintenance experience are preferred. You will perform turn-key work, coordinate with residents, and uphold safety and company policies while contributing to a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of property maintenance experience.
• Basic arithmetic for measurements, estimates, and percentages.
• Able to operate general office equipment as needed.
• Frequent use of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Must be able to handle chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances.
• Complete service requests in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform turn-key work to make vacant apartments rent-ready.
• Maintain high customer service standards and respond to resident requests.
• Follow Atria safety policies and procedures on site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and building codes.
• Assist with organizing service tasks and prioritizing requests.
• May drive company vehicle as required.
