Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems across community properties in New York.

You will complete service requests safely and promptly, prepare vacant apartments for rent, assist with organizing requests, and may supervise staff or contractors. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic operations for estimates and calculations.
• Able to operate general office equipment as needed.
• Able to use common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and satisfy company vehicle policy.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Complete service requests safely and in a timely manner.
• Perform turn-key work to prepare vacant units for rent.
• Respond to resident requests and resolve issues to minimize complaints.
• Promote safety standards and comply with policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws including Fair Housing and building codes.
• Assist with prioritizing service requests and maintenance tasks.
• Possibly drive company or personal vehicle as required.
• Supervise work of other associates or contractors as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
