Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties of a Maintenance Technician.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic skills for calculations and analysis.
• Able to operate general office equipment (PC, phone, copier, etc.).
• Able to frequently use general maintenance tools and equipment.
• Able to handle and use chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Position requires driving responsibilities (may use company or personal vehicle).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet Atria motor vehicle policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and more.
• Complete service requests and repairs safely and promptly.
• Perform turn-key work to ready vacant apartments for rent.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests to resolve problems.
• Follow Atria Policies and promote safe work practices on-site.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws including Fair Housing and building codes.
• Assist with prioritizing service requests and maintenance tasks.
• Possibly drive between community destinations as required.
• May supervise other associates or outside contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
