Precision Fiber, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage weekly multi-state payroll and prevailing wage reporting across the Northwest.

This full-time, non-exempt role supports accurate pay and compliant filings while maintaining payroll operations with our OnPay provider. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of multi-state payroll experience, strong knowledge of wage laws, and proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Desktop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll, preferably in construction or prevailing-wage industries.
• Knowledge of prevailing wage reporting requirements, intents, affidavits, and wage compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes and wage-hour laws.
• Experience with third-party payroll providers and garnishment handling.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office; QuickBooks Desktop experience.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly multi-state payroll accurately and on time using OnPay.
• Oversee payroll operations, reporting, and weekly certified payroll processes.
• Ensure filings by OnPay, including taxes and W-2s, are completed correctly.
• Handle wage garnishments per applicable requirements and respond to inquiries.
• Record paycheck data in QuickBooks and assign job costing codes.
