The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of payroll processing experience, familiarity with ADP/Paylocity/Workday, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, Workday or similar).
• Strong understanding of multi-state payroll and tax compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for employees across multiple states.
• Review and validate timekeeping data, deductions, garnishments, and benefit contributions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Process new hires, terminations, and payroll-related changes accurately and on time.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Prepare payroll reports for finance and HR leadership.
• Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and audits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and best practices.
