Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for employees across multiple states.
• Review and validate payroll data including timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and bonuses.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update information as needed.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports and payroll-related general ledger accounts.
• Coordinate payroll tax filings, payments, and year-end reporting.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Manage payroll-related onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
• Assist with quarterly and annual payroll reporting, including W-2s and filings.
• Stay current on changes to state and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and other teams to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and efficiency.
