Job summary

Worksome is seeking a meticulous Payroll Coordinator to own core multi-state payroll processing for our Employer of Record operations. You will manage weekly payrolls, ensure accurate data across platforms, and handle new hires, terminations, and deductions.

This role also supports HR tasks during peak cycles and helps refine processes with state wage laws. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience, proficiency with payroll platforms and MS Excel, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, multi-state preferred.
• Experience with payroll platforms and software.
• Ability to run a full payroll cycle start to finish.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax fundamentals and state wage rules.
• Proficiency with MS Office/Excel and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly multi-state payroll runs with accuracy.
• Handle new hire pay setup, terminations, deductions, and garnishments.
• Calculate overtime, bonuses, and other variable pay accurately.
• Review timesheets for completeness and accuracy before processing.
• Ensure final pay rules meet state-specific timing requirements.
• Generate payroll reports and assist audits.
