Job summary

ArborWorks, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to support a centralized HR Shared Services model across multiple states. This role partners with leadership and employees to deliver consistent HR support, ensure compliance, and enhance the employee experience.

The position requires 3–5 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of employment laws, and expertise in HRIS (ADP preferred). Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR.
• 3–5 years of HR experience (employee relations/HR operations).
• Experience with HRIS (ADP preferred).
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills.
• High volume onboarding or benefits experience.
• Knowledge of talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR point of contact for employee relations, policies, and HR inquiries
• Support investigations, documentation, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Maintain HRIS data (ADP or similar) and support reporting/audits
• Assist with benefits, leave administration (FMLA, ADA), and employee inquiries
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and new hire processes
• Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and shared services workflows
