Job summary

ArborWorks, LLC in the United States is seeking an HR Generalist to support a centralized HR Shared Services model across multiple states. You will collaborate with leadership and employees to provide consistent HR support, ensure compliance, and enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities include handling employee relations, policy inquiries, investigations, performance management, benefits and leave administration, onboarding and recruiting support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years HR experience (employee relations/HR operations).
• Experience with HRIS (ADP preferred).
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills.
• High volume onboarding or benefits experience.
• Knowledge of talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR point of contact for employee relations, policies, and HR inquiries.
• Assist with investigations, documentation, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain HRIS data (ADP or similar) and support reporting/audits.
• Assist with benefits, leave administration (FMLA, ADA), and employee inquiries.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and new hire processes.
• Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and shared services workflows.
