Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical office setting with high-volume direct patient contact.
• Experience obtaining managed care authorizations may be required.
• Knowledge of PAS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, referring providers, insurance carriers, and internal staff.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals and registrations.
• Enter patient information accurately into the EMR.
• Communicate scheduling status and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Assist with financial clearance and eligibility checks.
