Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Patient Access team member to handle registrations and patient information collection at the point of service. The role may rotate across hospital locations to meet staffing needs and ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include interviewing patients, collecting demographic, insurance and financial data, and supporting training during new processes. Prior experience in customer-facing roles and proficiency with Epic are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a customer facing role.
• Experience with in-person or phone interactions preferred.
• Able to use multiple data systems and basic PC software.

Responsibilities

• Performs registrations by completing an accurate face to face interview to obtain demographic, insurance, medical and financial information.
• Cross-trained to staff all areas of Patient Access at any facility, including Front Desk, Admitting Office, ED and Cashier.
• Maintains productivity and quality standards.
• Functions as a Super User.
• Acts as a resource for training of new team members and during the implementation of new processes.
• Provided registration and cash collection access in Epic.
• Other duties as assigned.
