Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Site Supervisor to oversee the newborn hearing screening program at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital and other sites in the region.

The role serves as the on-site technical lead, ensuring high-quality screenings, scheduling follow-ups, staff supervision, training, and real-time workflow support while maintaining compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification preferred or must obtain on offer.
• Minimum two years of experience as a manager or equivalent training/experience.
• Prior experience with newborns and/or in a healthcare setting.
• 1–2 years managing multiple sites preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee newborn hearing screening at multiple sites; ensure all eligible babies are screened.
• Perform screenings and document results; provide on-site technical lead support.
• Create schedules to ensure adequate coverage and report staffing gaps to the Hearing Screen Manager.
• Train new hires and monitor KPI's; conduct monthly staff meetings.
• Supervise technicians and perform annual performance evaluations.
• Manage on-site reporting and ensure compliance with state guidelines.
• Monitor equipment and ensure proper use; coordinate with NATUS as needed.
• Attend to on-going duties and other tasks as assigned.
