Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a physician practice operations manager to oversee daily activities across multiple locations. The role will supervise staff, coordinate front and back office functions, and support budgeting and revenue cycle oversight.

The candidate will monitor patient satisfaction, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians and leadership to reach organizational goals. Travel to various practice sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and/or education. 3–5 years’ experience in physician practice setting with 2 years’ practice management experience.
• CPPM (Certified Physician Practice Manager) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of physician practice(s), including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, resolves problems and conducts disciplinary actions; interviews, hires and trains.
• Assists in developing the practice budget with the director; monitors financial metrics and revenue cycle processes.
• Reviews reconciliation of monies deposited and collected; monitors patient volumes and staffing resources.
• Monitors patient satisfaction reports and addresses variances or complaints.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies; supports HIPAA obligations.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to achieve organizational goals.
