Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a seasoned Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across physician practices, including front and back office duties. You will supervise staff, handle hiring, training, and performance appraisals, and participate in budgeting with leadership. Travel between locations is required.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in physician practice management, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. CPPM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience as determined by the company.
• 3-5 years’ experience in physician practice setting with 2 years’ practice management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day to day operations of the physician practice(s), including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, resolves problems and implements approved disciplinary action. Interviews, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations.
• Develops the practice budget with the director and monitors financial and revenue cycle metrics.
• Monitors patient satisfaction reports and addresses patient complaints.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Travels frequently to various practice locations.
