Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical work across community buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues from resident requests, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process to prepare vacants for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating with vendors.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to policies and codes, inventory management, and periodic inspections of work by others to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Performs technical and mechanical work to meet Greystar standards.
• Responds to resident service requests and completes make-ready tasks for leasing.
• Inspects work and ensures safety, policy, and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses defects, repairs per policies and safety guidelines.
• Oversees make-ready process from inspection to vendor coordination.
• Maintains inventory and works with manager to control costs.
• Conducts safety meetings and stays current with OSHA/MSDS requirements.
