Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas in line with Greystar standards. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing resident work orders, and coordinating make-ready tasks for move-ins.

The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and quality, with a focus on maintaining property condition and resident satisfaction in a large multi-family portfolio.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair building defects following safety standards and code requirements.
• Coordinate repairs and routine maintenance with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials while adhering to budget guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and performs routine upkeep.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develops cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, buildings exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by other team members to ensure policies and procedures are followed and quality is maintained.
• Maintains safety by ensuring MSDS sheets are current and safety regulations are followed.
