Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose issues, complete resident work requests, manage make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and monitor vendor work while maintaining inventory and budget adherence. A strong focus on customer service and safety is essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas reflecting Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and orders supplies as needed to stay within budget.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance and assists in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Supports safety meetings, ensures MSDS are current, and complies with OSHA and safety laws.
