Job summary

Drucker + Falk is seeking a Service Manager/Maintenance Superintendent for a multi-site operation in Downtown Columbus. This role oversees the physical upkeep of communities and the supervision of maintenance staff under the Property Manager's direction.

The position emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, scheduling, and contractor oversight to ensure timely work orders and high standards of resident relations. Excel at coordinating repairs and maintaining records in line with policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related maintenance experience acceptable.
• CFC certification preferred or required for HVAC systems.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and coordinating multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise maintenance staff in accordance with company policy.
• Hire and terminate staff under direction of Property Manager.
• Establish maintenance schedules and assign tasks to ensure coverage.
• Respond to emergencies and be on-call as needed.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, safety programs, and manuals.
• Oversee budgets and purchasing directives for maintenance needs.
