Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work that ensures the community's buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

The role includes completing work orders, making repairs, preparing vacant homes, coordinating vendors, inspecting quality, maintaining inventory, and supporting budget efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to interact with residents and team members.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and amenities following safety standards and codes.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
• Provide courteous resident service and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
