Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices safely.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects from resident requests and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, order supplies within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and support budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Promote cost-saving practices by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
