Job summary

Jones Street Residential seeks a Leasing Operations Specialist to provide flexible leasing support across the portfolio. You will help with tours, applications, lease signing, and move-in coordination while collaborating with site teams and marketing to align on promotions.

This role emphasizes strong communication and customer service, adherence to leasing standards, training of new staff, and developing leasing best-practice documentation; travel across properties is required to meet portfolio

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leasing experience in residential property management.
• Proficiency in Yardi or comparable property management software.
• Strong communication, sales and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work across multiple locations.
• Ability to train and guide others in leasing processes.
• Adaptability and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as interim Leasing Consultant at properties in need of temporary support.
• Execute tours, application processing, lease signing, and move-in coordination.
• Support onboarding and training of new leasing team members.
• Develop and maintain leasing best practice documentation and participate in rollouts.
• Partner with Marketing to support promotions and lead generation strategies.
• Drive occupancy and revenue through effective follow-up and closing techniques.
• Provide leasing system support and guidance on promotions, renewals, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Community Managers to implement site-specific leasing solutions.
• Travel to properties across the portfolio as needed.
