Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales experience in retail, hospitality or multi-family.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with social media and marketing platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Experience with Yardi highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personal sales and telephone skills.
• Provide information about apartments and the community to prospective residents and schedule visits.
• Manage leasing process from introduction to occupancy and maintain communication with residents.
• Collect security deposits, rent, and other move-in funds.
• Prepare lease documents following qualification and screening procedures.
• Optimize occupancy while maintaining lease rates and driving traffic.
• Maintain prospect, traffic, and leasing data in database.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of market competition and trends.
• Respond to resident problems and coordinate resolutions with maintenance.
• Support marketing efforts and input promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain knowledge of rent, vacancies, availability, and lease expirations.
• Inspect vacant apartments to ensure readiness for showings.
• Conduct follow-up with residents to foster positive relations.
• Communicate with Community Manager and Maintenance Manager.
• Implement applicable community policies and ensure compliance with laws.
