Republic Services is seeking a Business Unit Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee 5+ maintenance shops and lead teams of technicians and supervisors. You will implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across a large fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, wage and performance management, and reporting on shop performance. Travel is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people-management experience.
• Advanced root cause problem solving.
• Strong budgeting and financial planning skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA Haz Com, Lock Out Tag Out, Fire Protection regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide direction to on-site technicians and supervisor staff to ensure safe, efficient maintenance work.
• Oversee daily shop operations, scheduling, and overtime to optimize productivity.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs across multiple shops and track performance metrics.
• Inspect external repairs for safety and regulatory compliance; address corrective actions.
• Manage administrative matters: payroll, records, budgeting, and maintenance software data entry.
• Travel as required.
