Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to deliver timely service across multiple customer sites in Chesapeake, VA.

You will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems and components, using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC skills to maintain facilities to high standards. Applicants should have a HS diploma or trade certification and 2–5 years of maintenance experience, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or certification in a related trade preferred.
• Two to five years of general maintenance experience incl. minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Licenses/certifications and valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders.
• Self-perform maintenance tasks across multiple trades to keep facilities in good condition.
• Use handheld devices to access work orders, submit reports, and manage inventory.
