Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services in Middle River, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service a range of facility needs on site. You will report to the Site Supervisor and perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep equipment and spaces safe and functional.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience, HS Diploma, and a valid US driver’s license. Strong customer service is essential. Overtime or winter outdoor work may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma
• 3-5 years of experience related to facility maintenance
• Valid US driver’s license
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service needs with Site Supervisor and client subcontractors.
• Repair walls, floors, doors, ceilings and perform painting for facility beautification.
• Plumbing repairs including unclogging toilets/urinals and maintenance of valve assemblies.
• Maintain PM schedule: inspections of extinguishers, emergency lighting, and interior/exterior checks.
• Perform basic electrical and HVAC tasks and assist with related repairs.
• Document maintenance records and communicate progress via email.
